At Choice Home Health Agency, LLC., we understand that establishing and maintaining independence is an important part of life. It can also be a particularly tricky one, however, for individuals with specific developmental disabilities and needs.
What is attendant care?
Attendant care, also known as ATC, is a service that aims to provide the assistance & supports necessary for individuals to live a self-determined life. Many people with these support needs are capable of living active and fulfilling lives with just a bit of help designed to maximize their independence across many different areas. This includes performing tasks they would do for themselves like housekeeping or shopping. The professionals at Choice Home Health Agency, LLC., want our members to live a self-determined life. Sometimes that means providing assistance with basic life tasks that might prove too overwhelming or difficult for them to succeed absent of support. Our goal is to help our members thrive while providing quality care.
What does ATC include?
Our ATC services include aid with many different tasks, including:

- Food Preparation
- Meal Cleanup
- Eating Assistance
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Mobility
- Toileting
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Laundry
- Supervision
- Maintaining Sanitary and Safe Living
Conditions
These are not the only areas or tasks with which we assist, and we can also take action to aid our members in obtaining safe housing and basic needs like food, heating, and water. No one should be stuck in less-than-ideal surroundings due to an intellectual disability and we do our best to support you.
